The rules for using Docxels
Last updated: 15 October 2026 (signatures and letterheads, PDF to Word)
1. Accepting these terms
By installing or using Docxels you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. The app
Pixels Limited grants you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use Docxels on your devices. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
3. Your content
You own your documents. We do not receive them and claim no rights over them. You are responsible for the content you scan, create and share, and for having the right to use it.
4. OCR and automatic results
Text recognition, PDF to Word and Scan to Word conversion, table detection, straightening and cleaning are automatic and can make mistakes. Always check the result before relying on it, especially for contracts, financial or official documents. Your original scan or PDF is never replaced by the converted result. Pictures, text styles and repeated letterhead artwork are carried over where the app can find them, but drawings and lines, some formatting and unsupported parts of a Word file (comments, tracked changes, text wrapped around objects) may not be, and the app tells you when it knows this has happened.
5. Signatures
A signature you draw in Docxels is an image placed on a document. It is not a cryptographic digital signature, and whether it is legally binding depends on the document and the law where you are. You can also add a signature from a picture, a PDF or a Word file and keep it in Settings. Only use signatures and letterheads that you are entitled to use.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Docxels to break the law, infringe others' rights, or process documents you have no right to handle.
7. Paid features
Docxels is free to start. If paid features are introduced, pricing, billing period and cancellation terms will be shown in the app before you pay.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Docxels is provided "as is". We work to keep your files safe, but please keep backups of important documents. To the extent the law allows, Pixels Limited is not liable for indirect losses or loss of data.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Docxels at any time. We may suspend access if these terms are broken.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION – to be confirmed]. Questions: docxels@pixelslimited.ng.
